I've traveled across the country and I always stay at KOA. This is a comparatively small location compared to most, but what they lack in spaces and amenities, they make up for in quality and friendliness! This was by far the cleanest, friendliest KOA I've stayed in. I was only there one night, and I stayed in a Cabin, as I always do.
Upon arrival, I was greeted by Marvin, the location cat, and the best concierge! I was early for check in, and the office was closed so I headed into Santa Fe (a short and easy 20 minute drive away). When I came back for check in I was greeted warmly, and given a rundown of where everything was, along with a kind offer to move to a cabin that was closer to the bathrooms. I declined, just because I really liked the decor in the cabin I selected (music themed, very cute!). The facilities are very clean and ready for use and the staff makes you feel like more than just a guest. They recommended places to eat, with follow up descriptions of their favorite things to eat there, I can definitely back their recommendations of Cafe Fina and Harry's Roadhouse!
I only stayed one night, but I will definitely return next time I'm looking to stay near Santa Fe!
My little family and I were traveling from Oregon to Oklahoma and arrived right on time for the temperature drops. They warned us about the below freezing temperature levels and how the water faucets freeze at night. Our pump doesn't work the greatest in our 1995 Class C, but they were so friendly and kind even after we arrived late and put us in a great site for our stay. Their showers are GREAT and the little store is so helpful. The couple running the place are so warm and kind and he even dropped our firewood off at our site for us to watch a football game on the upgraded patio on a cold day. We loved this spot and it's only about 20 minutes from everything Santa Fe. It snowed and dropped to about 17 degrees and you definitely want to be careful about pipes freezing, but this is a great cozy place to stay for all things Santa Fe even in the cold and snow! Thank you so much for such a great comfortable stay!
Typically camp in the forests, but chose the Santa Fe KOA because it was late and we knew what to expect. We have stayed here before in a tent and there is a lot of noise from the busy road. We have also stayed here in a trailer, which is …
My sister, mom and I had a wonderful 2day experience at this gorgeous KOA, beautiful location. The staff was fantastic!! very friendly, and helpful with anything we needed, they make you feel at home. Our cabin was gorgeous, the game room was fun!! Lots of places to sit and have some wine🍷talk, and relax, great playground for the children. Many things to do to keep you active ⛳️ Awesome place if you have dogs, cute dog area for them to play. Bathrooms are very clean, grounds are clean and kept up, beautiful scenery. A cute little shop with coffee, goodies, and fun souvenirs, awesome pizza! I give this place a 10! Close to Downtown Santa Fe, awesome shopping. Thank you Gerry, Clarissa and of course sweet pooch🐶kitty🐱 and all the other staff who made our stay FANTASTIC! Until we meet again 🍕🐢
As a KOA Journey this beautiful campground has all the things a traveler needs. Excellent site selection/variety and great bathhouse/showers. Easy pull-in and set ups. Close to Santa Fe. Nicely stocked store. Friendly folks running the place. We stayed here twice this month and look forward to staying again.
December 3-6-23 Arrived around noon and we were greeted, as we drove up. We needed propane and had our tank filled. We were guided, to our campsite and guided in. You couldn’t have asked, for more. They are so willing to help you, if you need it. You can tell, they love their campground and they want you pleased, with your stay.
They have a wilderness playground, cabins, dogpark, patio campsites, even your very own campsite, with your own dog park. They have a store, that has all kinds of goodies, rv needs, Southwestern items and so much more. Want a real treat? Order yourself a, Hunt Brothers Pizza and some wings! Oh my gosh!
We want to thank, each one of you, for making our stay a memorable one.

Beware. It’s beautiful, loved our site, but very very expensive! They also charge $40 per nite for overflow parking!! We were never told this, and were in shock when they told us that. We tried to mention we have never been charged at a KOA for this before and I couldn’t even finish before the manager put his hand up to my face and said he didn’t believe me and not to bother to say that, he said he would just cancel our reservation! We had no cell service to even try to find another place. I asked if we couldn’t please figure out something, like $40 for both nights. He finally agreed and then adjusted it to 30. (Which was refunded due to some late night police activity involving drugs and drunks)
He did apologize, but after being on the road for over 6 hrs and to come in to a place where you’re already paying top dollar and be treated so poorly, it didn’t really mean much.
Then he said, no bad reviews, if you don’t like me just don’t review! 😠
Wonderful experience. Family owned and operated. Very friendly, helpful and always busy doing something. Bathrooms were very clean every time my wife or I used them. Showers great! Thanks to Andrew, Josh, Jessica, Jule, Alex and Jerry!! They made our stay great and memorable. We will definitely be back!
We rented a camping cabin. Very nice, clean and location was perfect. The grounds were so neatly designed and campground overall was so cute. The workers were very friendly and made some great complimentary coffee👌. Our only regret was that this was just an overnight stop and that we couldn't spend more time here😊 …
